Pricing

Base Price - $3200
Includes: Basic figured top, Sperzel locking tuners, Seymour Duncan pickups, basic switching and controls, oil finish, and chrome hardware.

Options

Top wood:  Price depends greatly on type of wood. The most expensive is Brazilian Rosewood, which varies in price from $1500 for a plain set, to $5000 for a highly figured set.

Pickups: I use Seymour Duncan pickups as my standard, but I will gladly use any pickup you desire. In most cases there will be a nominal - $100 – charge for using some other brand of pickups. There are exceptions of course, such as Tom Holmes or some other custom made pickups, and there will be the appropriate up charge to go along with them.

Switching and Electronics: I generally like to stay with a pretty basic layout, but will do almost anything you request. Due to the high-grade quality of the parts I use, a complex circuit can start to add up in a hurry.

Metal Finish: My parts come standard in chrome, but I offer several other finishes. The finishes I offer are: Gold plating, Rust blue, Nitre blue (a very blue bluing), and Color case hardened.

Inlay: The skies the limit here. Anything from simple dot fret markers to the most elaborate thing you can imagine. I will work closely with you to get the design you desire. Pricing can range from less than $100 for simple fret markers to more than $20000 for something very elaborate by Larry Robinson or Grit Laskin.

Engraving: Much the same as inlay work; the skies the limit. Some simple line engraving will be $100 – 200 extra, all the way up to something very elaborate with gold inlay, which can run into the thousands.

Case: Everybody has a different idea of what they want in a case. My standard case is a basic hardshell fitted case. The options run from an Anvil-type road case all the way up to a leather covered fitted Huey case. At the high end, the Huey case will run around $3300 depending upon options.
